To allow for a greater degree of throw adjustment range, e8x 135i and rwd e9x 335i customers must install an awd shifter arm

Due to space constraints we weren't able to make this shifter fully adjustable
The shift knob height can be easily adjusted from the cabin of your bmw by.
1) remove the knob and boot
2) slide off the rubber boot from the shifter
3) use two flat screwdrivers and twist clockwise and release the plastic cup
4) lift the shifter up as far as it will go.
The uuc shifter comes packaged with all the pieces needed to install their evo 3 short shifter
Additional carrier lock pins (circled below) are included if the installer.
We install the irp short shifter kit on pats 335i and damn!
This shifter is notchy and has short throws!!
One thing to be aware of is that all of them make shifting more positive, but with more effort (because you're shortening throws at the expense of losing leverage)
